After practicing dentistry in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, Dr. Ballesteros went into private practice in 1995.

Dr. Ballesteros' formal education includes a Bachelor in Science (Biology) degree, a Doctorate in Dental Medicine, and a two year Residency in General Dentistry.

He is a Fellow and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, International/American Association for Dental Research, Colegio de Cirujanos-Dentistas de P.R., and several other associations.

Dr. Ballesteros has taught biology and dentistry, and has also done research and published articles in professional literature.
